SEXING
There are three primary ways to determine the sex of a day-old chick:
Feather Sexing, Vent Sexing, and Auto/Color Sexing.
Auto/Color sexing is the most accurate way to determine the sex of a chick. Males are one color and females a different color at hatch. This guarantees 100% accuracy.
Feather Sexing and Vent Sexing are not foolproof. While we try to be as accurate as possible, our sexing rate is similar to the industry average of 90% accuracy.
